so yk that symbol of a person in a wheelchair rolling themself? ive seen that referred to as a disability pride thing, is it supposed to represent all physically and/or mentally disabled ppl? idk i just feel like i dont have the right to use it bc i dont use a wheelchair or anything and am able-bodied except my wrists (im also in constant pain in other joints and my back and neck but that doesnt really alter my function like my wrists and brain do)

That icon is for all disabled people, not just those who use wheelchairs.

Iconography, by necessity, is simple. Therefore, the icon must be simple and easily-understood without the use of written language. Therefore, it is simple and immediately visually understood that ‘someone in a wheelchair’ is ‘a disabled person, regardless of disability.’

Not everyone understands that because some people are just assholes, but that’s the intention.

wait youre a girl? i always thought you were a trans guy and then i saw "any pronouns" so i figured you must be nb but then your bf just called you his gf?

m nb yeah. i identified as a transguy for a while but it didnt feel right so now i identify as nb, i dont really care what people call me and i allow my bf to switch between calling me his bf and his gf and i do allow any pronouns.
