#mergana thots

MerGana is the only dynamic i ship where the two characters actually and genuinely adored/admired/loved each other before being split apart by their circumstance and before they even got to do anything about their feelings. Not only that, but they got split apart in the most horrible ways possible over and over again. It's like being consistently slapped in the face on how they should not be friends and how they cannot be together even when they've already become so similar and increasingly lonelier.

Does anybody ever feel weird about shipping Mergana, but then when looking for content with them find a children' s book where Morgana is 12 years old and apprentice to a very grandfatherly Merlin and they have a sweet teacher-student/father-daughter relationship?

The way merlin kept the location of morgana's hovel his secret in s4 is a bit similar to the way morgana kept the poisoning her secret is s3. I dont know where im going with this. I think they are both nuts.

Tho i get morgana not using that info to her advantage anymore coz she had bigger fish to fry (uther as her real father). Merlin poisoning her wasn't really politically useful anymore.

Merlin is the one i dont understand coz her hovel location in s4 was the only thing he had against her.

me, when i realize (again) that i can only tell which merlin bbc season i am referring to by the clothes that morgana is wearing.

merlin's clothes just never change from s1-s5 jfc

who even allowed this kind of storytelling where the main character just doesnt have any real development!

gdi they should hold hands and unite the opposing yet valid and interdependent sides of magickind instead of tearing each other apart.

by only holding on the other's wrist…it symbolizes that they were so close to getting there if only they had been more honest to each other???

and that grabbing symbolizes both of them forcing their respective idealogies on each other and that they would've been so close to a compromise and to reaching better solutions if they just revealed their own truths?
