I adored the relationship between Aglain and Morgana, he was to her what Gaius and Uther could never be, and he won her trust and respect in just a few minutes. It's so sad to think what a wonderful sorceress Morgana would have turned out to be had she received guidance from him. Even though we barely got to see him, Aglain will remain my favorite male character in Merlin.

Say what you will about the writing of series 5, but the acting by Colin, Katie, Bradley and Angel in series 5, was absolutely terrific.
