Σαν το χιόνι που λιώνει και ανακατεύεται με το χώμα. Κάπως έτσι τη θυμήθηκα αυτή την τουρτα που την είχα κρυμμένη κάπου στο σάιτ.. Βανίλια και Μαρέγκα.. και βοήθεια μας όλων.. αυτό έχω μόνο να πω.. καλό χειμώνα ακόμα!! Chocolate Chip Meringues, 12/21/17

Ingredients

4 egg whites

¼ t salt

¼ t cream of tartar

1 ½ C ugar

2 t vanilla

1 pkg chocolate chips

½ C chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 300 degrees

Beat egg whites, salt, and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.

Add sugar gradually, and continue beating until peaks become stiff.

Fold in chips and nuts (optional), gently.

Drop by teaspoonsful onto a flattened brown paper sack or a parchment-lined baking sheet, and bake for 25 minutes. They should harden to a crispy exterior, but not brown much.
