They probably spend their time not really talking, if that makes much sense. Finnegan doesn’t feel the need to fill the silence around Matéo - he knows it doesn’t really matter. However, he does turn on the radio, or regardless of what the other thinks (though he does take into regard what Matéo would like to listen to)
Finnegan is 200% intimidated at first bc not only is Matéo shorter than he is but he can also kick his butt within a matter of minutes (as could many tbh but this one has a gun and it’s right there he can see the gun)
Matéo probably doesn’t approve of the Finn’s smoking, and Finn knows that (so he tries to do it in secret which makes it so much worse c’mon dude just ditch the cig for one second pls)
They could cook some really good food together if they actually tried.

“Mojave, mo’ problems, am I right?” She cracked a grin at the man, hoping that maybe he wouldn’t look so mad.
No such luck for her however.
She peaked around cover, and yes, ghouls were still there, still wandering.
“Hey- I mean it’s not all bad right?”
Colour guard?
YES THAT

“What?”
The man glances between you and the drink he’s holding (a bottle of beer, from the looks of it) with an expression between confusion and mild irritation. It’s an improvement from how lost he seemed mere moments ago, though he still stands out like a sore thumb in the bar environment. It takes another moment for him to catch on and actually reply to your question, nodding as he pushes the bottle across the table and still eyeing you warily as he mumbles a much more quiet, “take it. I don’t really drink.”
You honestly don’t care if he looks like a wannabe-- you’re just out to keep your intoxication going as long as possible without actually passing out. You don’t like beer, but it’s alcohol, so it doesn’t really matter what you like or dislike, and thus you take it, drinking a good quarter of it down immediately.
“You’re in the wrong fuckin’ place to not drink. Or are you just tryin’a get fucked?”
@meritbound liked for a starter
Outside of the normal business, you’re relaxing-- you have no need to, but it’s just.... Nice.
It’s nice to sit down and enjoy the view.
The view being the daily routine of the guards and other residents of Goodneighbor as they get their business done, or loiter in the streets. For now, your back rests against the side of your counter, your knees tucked to your chest and your arms folded atop them, your eyes closed calmly. The only open again, however, when you detect footsteps approaching you.
Upon opening your eyes, you discover that it’s Téo!
Normally you wouldn’t get so excited, but he’s the only one besides your brother that visits you on a regular basis without the need for care. He does, sometimes, but it isn’t the only reason he sees you.
“Hello, Téo.” You greet, though you do manage a smile at him.

“Do you have a request?” Finnegan rocks idly back and fouth; playing a dangerous game of “how far can {he} lean back in this chair before {he} falls” — to a fair degree of success at that. He hadn’t fallen in the past five minutes that they’d been talking; and his pride gleamed in his eyes. “I’ve an entire library — you name it, I may have it. No promises.”
