I visited Merle’s Record Rack last summer in Orange, Connecticut and it was OK. They had everything you want if you love classic rock, but it got a little thinner if you were looking for something more recent than, say, 1987. Still, I found a sweet Stray Cats UK shaped picture disc of “Sexy & 17” there and some other goodies. I wouldn’t make a specific pilgrimage there like I did to the late, great Brass City Records in Waterbury (RIP Walt), but if you’re stuck on 95 in your travels, it’s a pleasant diversion.
