It could be just because people don’t know about them, but based on Waterboy’s lines about studying bats in school and thinking that bats are ‘magnificent creatures’, I’m surprised that Sonar x Waterboy isn’t a more popular ship.

Because I think Waterboy would be absolutely enamored by Sonar. And not even in a sexual way. He just wants to know about Sonar’s bat features and see exactly how close to an actual bat he is.

At first, Sonar thinks it’s just to get in his pants, like it is with everyone else. So he humors Waterboy when he asks him all kinds of questions like ‘can you echolocate?’ and ‘do you only eat mice and bugs, or can you eat human food?’.

He does find it a little weird that the water-hero isn’t attempting to woo him. He just keeps asking questions that are strictly scientific. He eventually corners him and asks him if he’s trying to sleep with him, to which Waterboy replies that he’s not. He just really wants to know all kinds of things about Sonar. But he promises to stop if it’s making him uncomfortable.

And that makes Sonar fall super hard. You mean, someone is actually interested in him? And not just to get in bed with him? That just about drives him crazy.

hwgehegdge waterbat au with ftm vic who realizes someone is catfishing waterboy w pics of him in college pre transition (both pre testosterone AND pre batification) and has to convince waterboy that this woman does NOT have good intentions while also making sure no one finds out that those are old pics of HIM. bonus points if the rest of the team r like “oh damn shes fine” while vic is in the corner with his hands over his ears. vic being outraged when waterboy gets a boob pic bc those are HIS to show off and hes not giving them out to fawking WATERBOY thank u very much

I’m finally locking in and starting this shit. But I could use some insight on characters..

So this comic is bendystraw based (and a bit of mugmutt) but this is the whole cast so far + their jobs/roles

I really wanna add Shelly but don’t know how.. so any ideas would be helpful. As well as any other characters. Tho the story will be mostly focused on Cuphead and Bendy, I want to flesh out the world more with other characters if I can
