Merlin fandom I need your help!

Hello Merlin fandom! I saw that you’re still alive and I need your help! (Especially if you’re a pagan)

I’m currently writing a Merthur fic (Modern AU), and I’m really trying to develop the lore, and so I wanted to have my MC (main character) talk about the Old Religion. The thing is that what I found didn’t really convinced me: it sounds too much like Christianity to me. Let me explain. There is mainly one Goddess who is three. Hm, like in Christianity, weird. To clarify, I know that Christian beliefs themself stole a lot (and that a euphemism) of stuff from pagans, but still, I am really under the impression that the writers didn’t really care too much about the Old Religion and just created it because they needed a thing like that…

And well, since I’m writing my fic, I can do whatever I want in it. So I’m gonna try to deal with that religious stuff (inspiring myself by Celtic religion, not gonna lie), by adding to the Old Religion prayers (mainly signings ngl), god.esse.s, spirits, celebrations and things like that. If you have any ideas (or that you’re a pagan and you have recommandations for me) I’m interested!
