I’m going to say it, Meredith was a dick this episode. Leaving Deluca hanging on NYE and after that leaving Link hanging on V-day??? That’s a dick move meredith.

On the other hand, Levi and Nico are soft gay boys and I will protect them with all my heart.

Annoyed that we missed out on developments in Schmico's relationship bc Nico was cool w/bringing up Christmas so they're not just physical and Levi settling into this new realization of his identity. On top of that, we got another fucking Meredith love triangle and Merluca were assholes.

nico during his argument with link over who has the prettiest boyfriend: look at him. look at his face and tell me he's not cute. he looks like a goddman disney princess. bambi eyes and all. look i know italians are hot supposedly but come on! levi and meredith are standing right there not knowing what the fuck to say or do. levi's just blushing beet red and going 'BAMBI EYES???' and mer just shrugs.

mer’s only defense: “bambi’s mother dies.”

Okay, maybe Deluca and Meredith are not deserving for the whole Merlinca thing, but damm, we are. So why not have our sweet bubble, where none of them were an ass or make them having a really sappy, sweet apologie too Link and than all the fluff. This is our happy place, so we make our owen rules.

continuing the merlinca thing: eventually mer and link get paged as well and they scrub into surgery together and since they know they can trust each other with patients they are a great team. its an incredible save and when they are scrubbing out they are both giddy and keep smiling at each other but don't kiss because of deluca but there is something in the air. the next time mer and deluca go out (with link) meredith lasts all of three seconds before kissing link while holding andrew's hand

even tho at this point i am more yelling "PUT LINK WITH SOMEONE WHO PUTS HIM FIRST. PUT HIM WITH QADRI" just think of link accidentally ending up at the same place mer and deluca are for their dates and because they all want to be polite and civil they keep inviting link to join them and eventually they just start making plans with Link. Andrew goes to kiss mer goodbye because he gets paged to the hospital and he also kisses link automatically.

i was telling myself i will not get emotional about merlinca anymore. and yet here we are with a big fat smile on my face while reading this.
