A Quick Trip to Forget-Me-Not (@Leia)
As the end of summer was drawing near, business at the Snack Shack had slowed dramatically, so Kai had lots of free time to pretty much do whatever he wanted. He spent most of it fishing or just exploring nearby islands. But today, since he had promised Leia he'd give her a visit, he started the engine of his boat and sailed to Forget-Me-Not Valley.
He had brought along some fish, herbs, veggies, the works. Unfortunately he wasn't entirely sure where exactly Leia lived, but eventually he was pointed in the direction of Daryl's house.
Knocking on the front door but finding no answer, Kai turned the knob and found the door unlocked. Okay...he thought as he entered the building, finding no one on the top level.
In the basement, however, he found his mermaid friend. "Hey, Leia! It's me, Kai!" He set his bag of groceries on the ground. "So what's up? Wanna make some lunch? Er...the guy who lives here isn't going to come barging in anytime soon, right?"
