Backlog, hello! First up is a MerMay piece from 2024 of Xerina! I wanted to keep her design spooky and deep sea, so I drew inspiration from the Queen Triggerfish and the Black Dragonfish. I really want to bring back this AU at some point; it was fun :]

This request got me really excited because I did a version of it last year and now I get to try my hand at another version and that's one of the things I honestly love about doing these challenges every year.

So I'm going to repost last year's here with a link to the 2024 Mermays (this one is labeled ViggoHiccup_Disney if you want to color it or you can color any of the others there, too) and soon you'll get to see this year's version of the prompt!
