other elf hawke moments that have made me feel insane so far (act 1):

aveline blocking carver from being employed by the city guard because he’s “insubordinate” (… for an elf?)

being greeted with “andaran atish’an” by keeper marethari & offered the friendship of clan sabrae as a city elf…

bringing merrill to the alienage feeling like welcoming her into the neighbourhood (like their grandfather would’ve once been responsible for arranging as hahren)

pariah of the alienage neighbour isms with merrill in general 🥰

killing off those mercenaries for sebastian playing out like the most blatant case of trying to earn the patronage of a human lord by being his sworn sword…

the fereldan refugees being suspicious of the hawkes and their intentions toward the healer because to shemlen you’ll always be an elf before you’re fereldan

feynriel quest with bethany meeting a templar willing to come into the alienage and take a young mage boy into the circle without shaking down the community…
