i want to enter your botm but i've done it a few times and i've never gotten anything. should i do it again or just give up?
You should definitely do it again! I always get to see so many wonderful blogs that way, and I usually end up picking new ones to win every time. It’s not my intention to make anyone discouraged, especially since it’s usually such a difficult decision to pick just one winner and 2 runners-up when there are so many excellent blogs involved.
That said, if this sort of thing is stressing you out too much, you should definitely not participate if you’re not finding it fun anymore, because it is, at its heart, supposed to be fun and I wouldn’t want anyone to be hurt because of it.

Hi. Sorry to bother you, but I have a question about your botm. You say you're looking for a "clean pretty theme" what do you mean?
Well, basically what I mean when I say a “clean” theme is one that is easy to read and navigate.
For a lot of people that’s personal preference. For example, I sometimes have a really hard time with reading light-colored text on light-colored backgrounds, especially if the font is small. I tend to prefer single-column content formats because I have trouble focusing on individual posts when there are multiple columns. I prefer separate pagination because endless scrolling really slows down my computer if the blog is addictive enough that I want to go far back. Are the links (ask page, pagination, etc.) easy to find. Stuff like that. Nothing that really determines the quality of the theme, just my comfort with navigating it.
I really only put “pretty” because the aesthetics of a blog can also factor into my choice sometimes.
