Ughh... I feel like Deucalion was let off because they didn't want Derek or Scott to kill Jennifer, and they had no idea how to kill Deucalion once the lunar eclipse was over. It was so laaaaazzyyyyy...

The fighting on both sides was contrived, because Jennifer had no real reason to pick these three parents in particular. She could have picked any other three parents, killed them and taken out Deucalion. Scott wouldn't side with Deucalion if she hadn't picked these three parents, so the only reason why they fought on both sides instead of letting Jennifer deal with the Alpha pack while they drank champagne on the sidelines was that Jennifer made this huge mistake for unknown reasons.

I am reading that! Omg, it's a good one! Very interesting take on the arranged marriage trope and everyone knows about werewolves trope. I love that it's starting to ramp up now in terms of 'there's something else going on here' plot and I'm so gleeful whenever I see updates!
