Hate the idea. If you want to do a reboot, do Firefly imo. Push a more diverse cast there. Buffy is still ongoing so unless they follow the canon and do some kind of spinoff (which im not thrilled about) then no. Bring firefly back instead! That had plans that were never seen! Buffy is done. Kids can watch it on Hulu if they want to see it and be taught that it has some messed up themes without rewritting the entirety of a fav show of mine, you know?

that is true but they’d be watching a version more relatable to our generation. kids today don’t have beepers, computer screens that weigh about the same as a small child (i’m exaggerating, but you know what i mean) and they don’t often play board games anymore (do they?)
and hey, BtVS was ahead of its time in exploring quite a few things as a show aimed at a younger audience: depression, PTSD, the sense of being alone, death in general - especially as a common happening and how it weighed on its main character every day. maybe we’ll get more of that with this show.
