Metroid Play order?

I’ve been meaning to play the Metroid games for a while now, but I’ve never been sure of were to start. Normaly I would just start with the origional Metroid and then Metroid II: Return of Samus, but seeing as Metroid: Zero Mission exists and Samus Returns just came out, I’m wondering if they would be a better starting point. Or should I ignore those and just start with Super Metroid or Metroid Prime or something?

We recently learned that Togata Mirio uses his own hair in his costume to that it can pass though wall with his quirk.

Has anyone else considered that Tooru Hagakure might have done the same thing with her costume?

I know all the “she’s naked” jokes are fun, but I think this makes sense. Plus, you could argue that the only reason she wears the gloves is so her teammates can see her, ‘cause she takes them of when she gets serious.
