#my art #my ocs #godhole #sorry merylaj is an old ass man under there. due to my preferences #merylaj was the high priest of the surface kingdom (the kingdom on the surface. as opposed to the ones underground)#through nepotism only btw. he is a deeply unpleasant person. selfish. mean. inferiority complex. also just bad at his job #but that runs out bc he pisses off a family member with very deteriorating mental stability who already didnt like him #so he flees execution and holes up in an abandoned stronghold within the Hole #holding otylia and her fellow nuns hostage was not at all intentional but choosing to kill and eat most of them kinda definitely was #so. cursed with snakes. not really a curse and more of just an effect of being within the Hole and starting shit in the Hole #but he definitely sees it as a curse. doesnt think he deserves it really tho #but yeah hes like. the first main antagonist in the narrative i guess? he does not survive #i like him very much #sorry i havent been up for anything more than grayscale sketches lately #merylaj
