👀 Do you have any WIPs that you would never let see the light of day? If yes, what are they about?
This question is hard to answer, most WIPs I have don't see the light of day because I just lose interest in writing them, but I also have some I never get around to writing, or that I think would be too personal/embarrassing to talk about on a public forum. So here's three that fit one or more of those categories.
1) I basically have an entire plot outline for Zexal III just sitting in my brain. But writing it would be a lot of work so....
2) For about a week I got really obsessed with this idea for a steampunk western Rivalship AU. Yugi was a sheriff. The Plana were an evil cowboy gang. There was going to be a scene with Ryou Bakura conducting a seance to communicate with Atem in the afterlife. I wrote a short, messy outline for it and then just sort of forgot about it.
3) I got an idea for a past life foilship story recently, but it's really dark. I think the story would be really interesting, but I'm not sure if I'm in an emotional headspace where I want to write it.
🌝 Who is one character you haven’t yet written for that you would like to?
I'd really love to write more for Mr. Heartland. I think his whole character and backstory is really interesting, even though he has a smaller role in the show. Whenever I write a post-canon Zexal fic that requires a bad guy I usually try to use him, but I think it would be neat to write about how he ended up working for Dr. F in the first place, too.
💭 What is a headcanon you have about your own work?
Nasch doesn't really care very much for Kaiba and doesn't want anything to do with him. This factors into The Rivalship Thing in a small but meaningful way.
