Feature: FAKEFAGS: AN UNDERCOVER LOOK AT ANONS WHO MAY NOT BE WHO THEY SEEM
It's no surprise that amidst the daily chaos of camwhoring and white knighting that a few fakes might leak through the proverbial ass crack of /soc/'s badly damaged troll radar. The social board on 4chan is notorious for its lack of interest in timestamps, something that is demanded and required on other boards, especially /b/, where a lack of time stamp would quickly indicate a troll. However, on /soc/, this is quite the opposite. Not only are timestamps rare, but barely anybody asks for them; it's simply assumed that the individual in question is real. It should come to no surprise, then, that /soc/ is the easiest of boards to attack with fake individuals. The attackers don't use their own photos, but those of a friend on facebook, or a set of pictures from deviantart, or even old photos of previous camwhores.
Troll extraordinaire and masterful haiku writer, mfw, had successfully tricked most of /soc/ into believing that he was a young blond femanon. It had been revealed some time later that mfw was a man, and the woman he had taken pictures of was a female who had posted on Social some time earlier. Unsurprisingly, most of /soc/ found themselves fooled by the guise and some astonishingly believe him to still be a woman.
It was later revealed that Lillipup, a young looking femanon, had successfully communicated with LVX, /soc/'s ex-resident pedophile and gigantic faggot, only to later reveal herself to be a troll attempting to reveal LVX's true nature. Her true gender remains unclear, but the fact remains that Lillipup herself was not the underage b& she was posting herself to be. A quick scan of her photos will lead you to a young female's deviantart. Her name? Fieldsofpunishment. Rifling through her photos reveals a surprising number of classic camwhore shots, absolutely perfect for any anonymous to download and post in any rate or crush thread with minimal effort.

What is even more frightening is the appearance of a new troll, Meshka, who is under serious investigation for being a troll and a fake. Meshka, as you all might know, is a namefag who posts pictures of a model-quality woman everywhere, going above and beyond normal levels of whoring, and collects compliments in the same way a whore collects STDs — with minimal effort and a lot of fucking around. Meshka has never once posted a timestamped picture of herself, taken requests, or even handed out contact info (though the last one isn't an indication of being fake or not, it still adds to the suspicion). She only seems to enter crush and rate threads, and posts the same exact pictures over and over, only to delete them when the next thread crops up so she can repost. This is only more suspect when one becomes cognizant that Meshka does not rate. At all. The final straw that broke the proverbial camwhore's back was how this femanon deals with haters, that is, with utter listlessness. It is as if she hasn't a care in the world who hates on her, yet she thirsts desperately for attention. Something is seriously awry. But that's not all, loyal Worst Board subscribers: she claims that she is married, as well as an ex-model. Who does that remind us of? Perhaps Kitsune, who allegedly was married with children.

For the record, this is not some angry femanon or hater, but simply an observer. I truly hope that Meshka continues to post in order to provide more "lulz" when white knights run to her aid and disparage potential haters in order to assuage their underfed libido and desire for female flesh. Truly, white knights are a brave race, rushing across the land of /soc/ to protect e-princesses from e-villains. One day, they might even get e-laid.
Before signing off I wanted to give newfags and down syndrome /soc/kpuppets some classic tips on how to handle fake personas on /soc/. The first step is to always search for timestamped photos or (specific) requests, or ask for one upon seeing a new individual. An easy way to identify these individuals is by the lack of posting in normal threads. A troll will scarcely post outside of their normal threads (amazon, rate me, X girls post here, etc.). Look out for disinterested personalities or very two-dimensional people. Finally, if you identify someone as a fake, do NOT call them out on it: simply sit back and watch others get trolled.
