i love warbler so much, shes so darling to me. maybe this is asking for too many spoilers, but will she have a big role later down the line?
also, its really nice to see trans characters who are treated realistically but so. normally. it also makes me so happy for canary to use she/her and also still be a tom [if i read things right, sorry if im wrong!!]

Yeah, she plays a very big role. I consider her the third main character after Lain and Mariner. Act 2 is where she'll start to shine a lot more.
And thank you. WAC has been a fun mix of "yeah most people are chill about trans people in this world" coupled with writing how even in that scenario transphobia (as well as misogyny and the transmisogyny that stems from that) can still live and fester. I'm a trans author myself, and I just can't see myself never not engaging with how trans people live and operate through a world on some level in my work; whether metaphorically or literally. BUT sometimes transphobia just isn't WHAT the story is about, but just a small aspect, so it's easier to just be like. yeah most people are chill and don't care.
and yes you are correct! Canary is a man but uses she/her (technically she/he as she wouldn't correct you on it, but she def has a preference). It hasn't been directly brought up in comic, but it will eventually lol.
