Necromany

SUMMARY: The ability to raise the dead and control their actions. 

SPECIFIC ASPECTS: (1) The bodies are reanimated by user and retain nothing of their former selves. (2) The dead have no functioning thoughts and are simply bodies under the control of the user. (3) Bodies are useable until they decay past the point of motion. (4) Bodies are under the complete control of the user and no one else, not even others with the same power (5) Bodies with no specific commands from the user are mindless zombies who will generally remain where they are told to be.

WEAKNESSES: (1) Takes great effort to raise the dead. (2) Once bodies decay to an advanced state, cannot be re-risen. (3) Controlling risen bodies takes less energy than raising the dead, but large quantities of bodies still takes a fair amount of concentration. (4) The older the body or the more decayed, the less powerful it is.

MASTERY DIFFICULTY: High

CHARACTERS: Alexandria Fairchild

OTHER DETAILS: This power needs a high degree of practice to control and a lot of energy to use. Bodies are strongest when recently risen, though the user has less energy and strength to control them immediately post brining a body to life

Atom Manipulation

SUMMARY: The ability to manipulate matter at the atomic level.

SPECIFIC ASPECTS: (1) Through the manipulation of atoms, the individual is able to change everything from different states and forms. (2) Can be applied to many different actions.

WEAKNESSES: (1) Unable to create new elements or atoms. (2) Is very hard to control leading to accidents surrounding use of the power. (3) Takes an exhausting amount of effort to use leading to the individual using this power sparingly. If possible, they will do everything they can before turning to their power. (4) Is impossible to master so an individual will never be able to really do big things with this power.

MASTERY DIFFICULTY: Extreme. No one is able to master this power. If one were to try to practice enough to do that, they would end up destroying things around them just practicing doing bigger and bigger things.

OTHER DETAILS: This power is godlike, but comes with such intense weaknesses and is so hard to control that many with this power prefer to simply not use it.

Melanokinesis

SUMMARY: The ability to turn tattooed ink images into three dimensional, solid beings while the user is manipulating and controlling them to the best of their ability. It's possible for the beings to get out of their control and this is more common the less experienced the user is as well as their emotional state. The beings eventually have to return back to their ink state and need to “recharge.” As the images come to life, they seemingly peel off the user's skin as if they were stickers and slowly “pop up” into three-dimensions. They are incredibly vulnerable during the peeling stage and can be made to revert back to the user's skin during this time. If destroyed they disintegrate and appear back on the user's skin.

SPECIFIC ASPECTS: (1) The user is able to give “mock” lives to animations that are tied to the user and not their own. (2) The animations are limited to only being created from the user's skin through tattoos. (3) The images work out of the user's control, but sometimes tend to be in synch with the animator. (4) After training, the user can have the tattoos under their complete control, otherwise it's always a battle between the two. (5) If the tattoo is destroyed while animated, it reverts back to its tattoo version and can't be made animated for hours.

WEAKNESSES: (1) At times the animations can be out of the user's control. (2) The larger the tattoo, the more concentration and energy it takes from the user in order to make it work, so it is possible they could tire themselves out. (3) The animations are only alive for a short amount of time. The more mastery, the longer; however, the longest is 10 minutes and this takes years to achieve and user is very old by then and their tattoos have been plagued by age as well. (4) They do not create temperaments or give the tattoos personality. (5) It takes complete concentration to decide which tattoo to give life to the smaller they are and sometimes life may be given to the wrong tattoo.

MASTERY DIFFICULTY: High. This ability takes a long time for complete mastery because the animations are not under the complete control of the user since all they are giving is life but nothing else. 

CHARACTERS: none

OTHER DETAILS: Some users tattoo their whole body in order to create more animations and this has a negative effect socially and many end up being stigmatized for how they look.
