(Also, fyi, you are definitely in my 10 favorite followers, but I’m not going to send this back to you because I don’t want you to feel like you have to write 10 more facts! :) haha)

1. I am only taking 13 hours this semester, which means I have nap time basically every day. Also, I actually like all of my classes and professors, which is exciting!

2. I’m pursuing a duel major in Political Science and Psychology with a Music minor.

3. For someone who doesn’t actually want to do band for the rest of her life, I spend a LOT of time doing band.

4. That being said, all of my closest friends have come from band, and without it, I can genuinely say I wouldn’t be the person I am today. The opportunities I’ve had through my involvement in band are irreplaceable.

5. On a related note, my marching band is performing in a Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in Dublin, Ireland this year!!!! I’m SO EXCITED - this will be my first time out of the country, and I’ve always wanted to visit Ireland. :D

6. Over the past few years, I’ve become MUCH better at not stressing myself out over the small stuff. That’s not to say I’ve stopped stressing entirely, of course, but I’ve come a long way!!

7. When I’ve got something big coming up, I tend to get super nervous a day or so in advance, but when it comes time for the actual event, I’m usually quite calm. It’s like I just have to get my little freak-out out of the way so I can go about my business.

8. I’m really bad at going to bed. Most nights, I’ll put off getting to work on homework and such until somewhere around midnight, so I won’t get to sleep until 2 or 3 … or 4. :P This is a problem, and I’m actively trying to fix it!!

9. I’m a firm believer in optimism and positivity. While circumstances definitely matter, a HUGE part of life is how you react to the hand you’re dealt. If you can focus on the good, your life will be much more enjoyable.

10. On campus, we have a poster sale roughly once a semester that lasts about a week, and I almost always end up buying at least one. Over the past two years, I’ve purchased posters for Gone with the Wind, BBC Sherlock, Bones, Steve Jobs, Rent, and Tyrion from Game of Thrones. I also got a Scars on 45 poster from when they opened for Ingrid Michaelson at a concert I attended freshman year. Additionally, I have six framed pictures of family, friends, and pets in my room, plus a big collage my neighbors in Minnesota made for me before I moved away for college. :)

1. I love cream cheese wantons.

2. The most played song in my iTunes library is the Glee Cast version of Glad You Came. It has 368 plays and I regret nothing.

3. I have eight different versions of Teenage Dream in my iTunes library. Two of them actually feature Katy Perry; one is instrumental; the other five are Darren Criss.

4. I have a week-long whiteboard calendar on my closet door and I use it to organize my life.

5. My Spanish textbook is called Doble Vía and I’m pretty sure that’s a stupid title. It’s actually a decent book, though.

That should be a good start I'M STILL SO EXCITED YOU'RE ON TUMBLR!!!!!!!!!! Are you following Carl, Heather Jackson, and erryone already?

5) Check. :) Have you seen the thing I reblogged where the first pic was like, "This may lose me followers, but I support gay rights!" and then the response pic was like, "This is tumblr. We love gays more than gays love gays."? That made me laugh really hard. And also decide I'll fit in really well here. XD

Part II: Tips. (1) Find a fandom. This could be pretty much anything - it all exists. LoTR, Harry Potter, Lion King, Band, Doctor Who ect ect ect. You can type in some key words to find preliminary blogs you could follow. (2) Know about memes. I assume you know what a meme is, but yeah. They crop up ERRYWHERE. (3) Oh, I forgot GIFS. They are the moving pictures. You can start your own GIF collection by right clicking and "Save As" pictures. (4) Be over enthusiastic. Every emotion is heightened

1) I love fandoms. XD I haven't followed any random blogs for them, though - I've just been looking at tags. I'll have to look into that. :D

2) Memes are fun. :D

3) And I LOVE Gifs. Good tip about saving them!
