How come everyone always closes their eyes when they sneeze? Is it to keep their eyes from popping out of their heads?

It is an involuntary reflex as signals are sent to your brain vhen you sneeze, triggering zhe closing of zhe eyes.

Zhough some have managed to keep zheir eyes open.
