Emerald orbs widen in surprise, the arnica montana, a rather rare flowering plant which has been used in the herbal medicine for centuries because of its anti-inflammatory effect, almost dropping out of her bare hands. For no other reason than exploring more of the island she had left the comfort of her room, although she had promised herself to take the day off from exploring to devote herself to her books and notes for once. The medicine wouldn’t produce by itself and still the crimson haired couldn’t tempt herself from leaving the house for at least a few more hours.
But just as she was about to leave the woods with a proud smile upon those pale lips, since she indeed made a huge discovery today, she stopped dead in her tracks. A familiar face were directed at her and probably he had been waiting since a good while now that she finally would turn around and notice his appearance as well. The black-haired sat with his back against one of the trees and finally raised a hand to greet her the way he always did when they both were still back at Clarines.
“...Obi?”, her voice was calm when she softly spoke his name, yet her facial features couldn’t quite express what the redhead must have felt deep inside, “You’re here as well? Obi... Obi, is it really you?”
Job Offer ♞ Ringabel & Obi
Though Ringabel was still very new to Hinamori, he’d already made quite a few trips to the Red District Bar. Bars and coffee shops tended to be Ringabel’s second home, regardless of what city he was in. And Ringabel’s favorite spot in a bar was always just that, on a stool right at the bar. He usually spent the night using his definitely not cheesy one-liners on anyone in the establishment who caught Ringabel’s eye.
But someone else caught his eye for a different reason. The bartender. Ringabel was a pro at picking up rumors. It just came with trying to talk to everyone all the time. And he’d heard things about this guy. That this wasn’t his only job, and that if you had the money, he’d do the work. Ringabel squinted, eying the bartender.
Ringabel had been hard at work himself, trying to start a very particular business. He still had no idea if it would even work. If he could manage to get things together and get it up and running. He hadn’t even received a business permit from the city, let alone acquired a location. So to start the hunt for employees would be absurd. But Ringabel didn’t want to lose his chance with this guy, and decided to give it a shot.
“Here, here. Bartender!” Ringabel slurred. He’d been at the bar for some hours now, and it was starting to take its toll on him. Ringabel wasn’t exactly a lightweight, but he wasn’t a pro at holding his alcohol either. He hiccupped before waving his arms around over his some more, hoping to get this bartender’s attention. “Helloooo~”
