The ‘Klara and the Sun’ exhibition had been extended till 2th October @Pegazus, Szentbékkálla, Hungary. (the finissage event going to be 24-25th September - with the Hungarian translator and book presentation and a techno-party in the evening where famous Hungarian VJs will be screened in the cellar (I do appologize - but I can't participate:), because in the meantime everyone goes to Pécs for the annual light festival (hint: Csontváry Museum - Cédrus and Tatras painting-mapping) and on the 2nd October will vjing for Mesterházy + Soviet at ‘Szabadkikötő’, where I have no idea what will happen, so it is exciting already. Let’s meet you there..

BUDAPEST (Reuters) - Hungarian Socialist party Chairman Attila Mesterhazy resigned on Thursday after the party suffered crushing defeats in national and European Parliament elections, news agency MTI reported. MTI cited a statement by Mesterhazy as saying he would also relinquish his position as parliamentary leader of the party. The Socialists came third in Sunday's European election, overtaken by far-right Jobbik and just edging ahead of former Socialist Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany's Democratic Coalition. The chief candidate of Hungary's rickety centre-left opposition alliance predicted Saturday on the eve of elections that he would defy the opinion polls and defeat Prime Minister Viktor Orban. "I don’t care about the polls, people are afraid of expressing their views," Attila Mesterhazy, head of the Socialist party and the alliance's joint candidate for premier, told AFP. "I believe I will be prime minister in a few days," Mesterhazy said at a rally of around 200 people in a communist-era housing estate in the capital Budapest.
