Hi Taylor,

I wanted to tell you how much of an influence you have had on my life as a writer!✨

I’m such a hopeless romantic and have always expressed myself through writing, even since I was a little girl. I’d write stories in class at school and even make illustrations too. When I first heard your songs back in seventh grade (2007), I heard them as stories. Beautifully crafted, impressively executed stories that I could hold onto and relate to. Stories that I could picture in my mind as I stood by my locker, songs to hold onto when there was nobody else to hold onto.✨

I desperately pleaded for your debut CD for my birthday, which is in November, and it was the soundtrack to my seventh grade year and much of my life, as were your other albums. Your storywriting in your songs has always pushed me to expand my creative writing and has encouraged me to record my own everyday experiences through through written expression.✨

Thank you for helping me realize how important it is to express my creative voice and how writing about our experiences can help us heal, grow, and be free. Because of you, I try to capture all of life’s most precious, sometimes minuscule moments, and turn them into relatable stories, to hopefully one day be shared with the world if I ever get so lucky❤️📝
