Do you have any theories as to why Tamsin was outside the gates of Valhalla even though she delivered Kenzi AND Rainer?
I just typed out a long textwall of rambly, circling thoughts about this lol…but I think I’ve managed to make sense of them.
Here’s how I see it:
Tamsin did some bad shit in her past lives (she was already doomed before she failed to deliver Rainer, remember). Delivering two souls, one of which she was supposed to deliver a millenium ago, wasn’t enough to make up for it. Whoever’s in charge of Valhalla in the LG-verse clearly doesn’t want Bo to succeed in getting Kenzi back (what I took from the finale was that they somehow showed Tamsin, or told her in vivid detail, what would happen if Bo did, and it’s bad). They probably looked at this as an opportunity—Tamsin is powerful, possibly powerful enough to stop Bo from getting the other Hel shoe and making it to Valhalla, and by forcing her to stop Bo, they’re killing two birds with one stone—the threat Bo poses is eliminated, and Tamsin does more penance, at which point they can reevaluate whether or not to grant the forgiveness she seeks.
Nothing is ever easy with the Fae.
