Once again rolling around ideas in my head, and restructuring Seelah's entire quest line to have it be her discovering she is Iomedae's next Chosen and that something is Very Wrong with Queen Galfrey.

I love the idea of Galfrey being Devil corrupted but the way the game threaded it in for Dance of Masks left me feeling underwhelmed. And for Seelah, let's be real, the Davek Sunhammer storyline was missing some crucial moments to really make it hit. Davek just being another demon collaborator who is uncomplicadedly mean and evil felt really stupid after Seelah's entire quest wanted so hard to discuss the balances of justice and punishment but never DID anything with that.

Galfrey and Seelah never interact in-game and that's a HUGE shame. There's so much to explore with them.

Can you write a meta about like sansa stark and jane eyre and birds? Please?

Oh boy, I've been trying to write a FIC about Sansa, Jane Eyre inspo, and bird imagery/symbolism for like months now 😅 But yes, that's a fab idea and right up my street, so consider it considered!

And as we're here, I know I say basically every weekend that I'm going to try to bang out My Maid of Stone, chapter 1... but, hey, worked on it earlier and current wordcount is 2559, so not too shabbyyyyy

Also, to my other unanswered meta-type asks... just been very busy lately, so am waiting for a chill time to give them my full attention 😊

Halloween Meta

So... I need to write another Halloween Meta. I mean, it’s august, that’s practically Halloween already.

What should I write about? I’ve done Hocus Pocus, Beetlejuice and Eerie, Indiana. I’m taking suggestions!

PS: I consider The Addams Family and most of Tim Burton’s middle work to be low-hanging fruit. (They spell their themes out rather plainly and don’t need meta.) 

For example, writing a meta on Edward Scissorhands -- the metaphoric reclusive artist whose aesthetic sensibility is drawn from a pain and eccentricity that makes him special and beautiful but also alienates him from normal people and apparently combs -- is too easy. I just said all I could possibly say on it.

I kinda want to see what Sylvanas’ plans are for the new expansion, what her deal was with Azshara and N’Zoth. It could be Sylvanas plotting against them and being a double agent all along. 

Like she was pretending to be against the Horde and the Alliance and only did what she did to further convince them to unite.

Maybe it’s a set up for Sylvanas to become this Goddess-like figure. Or like with Garrosh she probably got a vision and came up with a plan.
