Hoarderers

I'm back with another shit rant almost no one will read

So, hoarderers

Hoarderers are a no-no in the spirit companion community

They are people who have over 100 companions (I've seen some with over 500), abuse their companions, neglect them, and/or see them as objects/trophies.

I remember having 3 companions and thinking that was too much for me, yeesh

Now, there are other hoarderers, you don't need such a big number to be one sadly

A hoarderer can be someone who adopts a spirit and just neglects them, then continues the process. Then it sadly gets to a high number

Please, for the love of any god/goddess/deity you belive in, care for your companions, they are people too and they need love and attention just as much as you do.

The Spirit work community

The community of the Meta, Spirit work or Spirit Shop/spirit companions is extremely toxic.

For those of you who are beginners or don't know what Spirit shops/companions are, here's a short and simple explanation.

Spirit companions are spirits who are bound to a vessel (or your spirit, for some reason people do that.) They are basically good friends of yours, you communicate with them have fun with them and love them unconditionally.

Spirit shops are shops that adopt out spirits who are looking for companions, sometimes for free sometimes for money. These shops are supposed to Vet the spirit and make sure they aren't harmful, though some don't even care enough to do so. The shops also provide information about said spirit and give them to the person the spirit is interested in.

The reason why this community is Toxic? Money. Some shop owners don't do shit and just do everything entirely for money

It's sad but true, some spirits are abused and given out to people who they don't like or to people that are hoarderers (will talk about them later.)

Some shops are good, some are bad. To know which are good and which are bad have to do with your gut, honestly.

But, always make sure to check in with your companions to make sure they were treated correctly or are who the shop say they are
