me and lee when metal was born
i think if i was the one to birth metal, he would look a lot like me/our s/i as a baby, (yk alien baby, very not human) but as he got older he starts to glamor himself to look like his dad, and subsequently more human, but ☝️ i think he keeps little antenna at all times because theyre cute and i think he likes them
i live near a cemetery (actually, i live near two #gothlife) that has wild turkeys. around christmas the turkeys escaped from the cemetery and they’ve been hanging around my neighborhood block. it’s so awesome and tbh kind of scary
At 0:10... BANG YOUR HEAD!!! And you're not a person if you don't jump at 3:07.
"Announce your anthems on the ceiling. We dance, annexed by power. Casual neckties embrace, the hungry hunger further, images rule through the media, commercial Orwellianism, producing unveiled icebergs, running transparent electrical cables, curving string ensembles, witnessed by hangings from flagpoles of souls avenged by Dr. Clock. Fresh paint, naked melting figures mixing the revolution against T.V. sentencing, at the hands of brutal men and their military business world. Let us instigate the revolt, down with the system!"
Ok. So these are giant stone sword statues, as a monument to vikings in Stavanger, Norway. this is one of the most Metal things i've seen. And it's from the old world. It is just spectacular.
I know it's a bit long but in my opinion this Swedish band's sound epitomizes the thunder, power and speed of the vikings and should be treated with respect.
I swear. If i am ever lazy or tired or exhausted even; just listening to this can energize me in a matter of seconds. To me this is power in song.
If i am ever in a situation in which i am about to die i hope someone plays this song to revitalize me through sheer fury.(kidding?)
But really i love metal and this song is just tops. If the vikings had a playlist this would be an essential part of it.
But i guess if you just wanna get to the really amazing part just go to 10:23
Still. Listen to it all.
