Yay! The new year brought 250 followers!! My deep gratitude to everyone that has supported and indulged my weirdness. To celebrate I’m opening my asks and I’ll draw your favorite Nart character in the Metal Konoha style 🤘🔥
Wednesday, November 8: Gods Tower, “An Eye for an Eye”
If for no other reason, Gods Tower was notable for demonstrating doom metal’s surprisingly long reach, as Belarus wasn’t exactly a hotspot for the scene. Nonetheless, “An Eye for an Eye” played up the band’s bonafides, delivering a lengthy and dynamic if amateurish treatise on gothic doom. Perhaps because of their isolated geography, Gods Tower still sounded green even after 8 years of existence and two albums; that said, Lesley Knife howled with conviction, and the rest of the band was clearly enthusiastic about playing metal. So even if The Turns offered few surprises, tunes like “An Eye for an Eye” remained a striking indication that this style of metal had legs.
Sometimes it's fun to go see bands where you don't know an f'ing thing about what they're like offstage and can just enjoy their show. It's just talented people having fun who want to see you have fun.
Also, Metal shows rule.
And don't go on Reddit when you get home to see what people think about said bands, because people are bitches and complain about everything.

Have you lost touch with the times? I wasn’t fully aware of just how much I had.. until yesterday.
I’m a YouTube’aholic, as you may know. I’ve got a playlist for everything on the site, along with several accounts with a few videos I’ve posted. I haven’t posted anything to write home about, but I’m getting better at it! I love YouTube so much that it doesn’t matter how broke I am, YouTube Red is a required monthly purchase. I generally use the app on my iPhone, or my laptop. I quit…
