hmm... new Vendor woes?

I'm kinda irked that the order I placed at Metalliferous last week was back-ordered. No indication of the back-ordered item being out of stock, no notification email letting me know. Sure that is a 'courtesy' and not an obligation, but its still customer service. Other vendors I have ordered my supplies from have always been very on top of keeping me, the customer, up to date with the progress of an order, and letting me know if something I ordered was put on back-order. Rio Grande is really good about this, hell, even the "little guys" through Etsy are good about this. Not a great way to give me a good first impression of a company to order jewelry  making supplies to.

Ah well, I'm griping because I wanted to get started on a couple ideas I have floating around, & need the materials I ordered. That, and some of the supplies were to get ready for the new semester and jewelry fabrication class starting in about a week.
