Words cannot convey my absolute thrill at receiving an inscribed print copy of @chaouenmadrid‘s gorgeous canon compliant post-QI Sansan epic The Vow of Silence.
There are some people who are only in each other's lives for a short period of time - but when together, touch something deep within the other that leave them forever changed. When Sansa Stark and Sandor Clegane met again years after the Battle of Blackwater, an overwhelming spark ignited between them, against which both were unable to fight.
It was lovely to get to know Chaouen as she wrote this novel-length fic, and I was honored that she asked me to beta. Through her kindness and generosity of spirit, Chaouen is one of those lovely people who make the Sansan fandom shine a little brighter.
Fic writers, please don’t lose sight of the fact that, like Chaouen, many of you are writing NOVEL length fics. Whether in print or on line, it’s a huge accomplishment!
