The second Man-Thing series ends (in 1981, with issue #11) the same way the first one did--with a story narrated by its writer, in this case Chris Claremont, who even gets off a Claremontism in the first panel here! (He also dies and gets resurrected in this story, and John Kowalski from his early "War Is Hell" stories" appears too.)
