The Queen 💙 currently on a fanart phase 🙃
Assara, a fierce scarred warrior of the Galhot tribes, lives under the heavy shadow of her exile. Her heart consumed by vengeance, rage, and grief. But everything changes when a nameless human woman, frail with sickness, mysteriously appears in the harsh and unyielding land of the outcasts.
✨✨Last drawing of the year!! Happy 2025 ✨✨
Can't wait to post more on these two 👀 I should finish writing the first chapters of their story very soon ❤️
Another character that was cut from the early versions of Witch. Flora would be another of the Metamoor generals, and would have a romantic interest in Julian, the Shadow Emissary. She is a humanoid creature, part plant, and has plant control abilities. She would sacrifice herself by closing one of the Portals.
I think she's one of the most beautiful characters in the Prototype universe. Peli, given that this first version was much more inspired by works like Rayearth by CLAMP. (I'm watching the anime, and the more I see, the more I think it's one of the main references for the team regarding CLAMP,Besides Sailor Moon, obviously. )
The fact that she's a villain who's also a humanoid plant reminded me of Dark Mother in the seventh arc.
Credits to the Instagram page Cronache di Witch for bringing these revelations.
Is The Witch Fandom Still Alive? Cool! MATRIARCHY ATTACK!
So. A random little detail I noticed about Metamoor/Meridian.
It’s stated in both the comics and the TV series that it’s a matriarchal society, hence why Phobos despite being the firstborn wouldn’t naturally be the next ruler, because he’s a man. The ruler and Light of Meridian is always a woman.
Now, Phobos and Cedric share this detail of having pretty long hair. I mean, look at them.
Phobos’s hair is literally so long it’s used in braided tendrils and twirls behind him. Cedric has pretty long hair too, though not as much. They also wear pretty swishy, body-covering robes. Initially, I assumed this all was just a Meridian custom. But in almost every single crowd scene from the comics and show, no other male character looks like that in Meridian.
My theory is that, since long hair is typically a sign of femininity, Phobos wants to appear more feminine; it’s been that way since he was little, with longer hair.
Keep in mind that he’s believed he should be/wanted to be the real ruler of Meridian since he was a kid. However, since he was taught from a young age by his royal parents that women are the ones who get the power, it’s possibly some type of habit he has, to wear long hair and flowy robes that cover him heavily in attempt to seem androgynous, especially while he is in power, in attempt to seem more powerful to the people, who he wants to respect and fear him, and see him as their leader and not his sister.
Consider also the Whisperers. They often have androgynous features, and in the comics, some of them even appear to have female bodies. Now, it’s said that Whisperers/Murmurers could have once been people, but did Phobos really trust that many people once and eventually transform THEM ALL? I think that some of them he made himself, and since they were the version of himself he showed most often to people due to his vanity, them being feminine makes even more sense. Femininity equals power, and Phobos wants power, therefore he has those traits and extends that to his Murmurers, because he strives to be powerful and in control, and to do that in Meridian, you’d have to be a woman.. so he compensates with femininity, androgyny, and strangely gendered Murmurers.
And as for Cedric? Well, he’s extremely loyal to Phobos, and his whole story in the comics is that he wants to be a Murmurer, at least initially. He’s literally obsessed with slash in love with slash afraid of Phobos, so it makes sense he’d emulate him in that manner. Also, in his human guise, most of the time he tucks his hair behind him in a ponytail. He is literally tucking back his scheming want for power and Phobos obsession to seem more like a person.
Okay, bye, until next time, but that’s just a THEORY
Meridian city scape to warm up a bit. I really love that castle design from the show. Here it is at dawn.

Why would Caleb even rebel against Phobos?

Finally sat down and did some traditional work with these gals from my childhood. Not the best quality because they're pics taken on my phone, but still. Guardians Unite! 💖💧🔥🌱🌀
