TBT ... This was one of the happiest days of my life. After many hours of research and doubts I could get the work ever finished to get my doctorate, I challenged my mom, who was enrolled in the same program with me, to finish her dissertation too so we could create a memorable event. A mother and daughter graduating together with doctorate degrees. . Who does that? Who graduates with a doctorate degree with their mom? Just me. . This was amazing for us both, and our family was so proud to witness us graduate together. . For me it was a pinnicle event culminating in a rewarding and welcomed relationship between my mom and I after many years of growing pains and challenges. . The truth is that if you really desire a relationship with your parents you have to pray about it and release all control, judgment, fear, and resentment. . My mom and I got more than a doctorate in Metaphysical Science that day, we earned a Doctorate in letting go of the past to welcome the love of the present and the reward of a brighter future. .
