Does Telurin currently have anyone important in his (un)life, or does he prefer to go at it alone? If he does prefer being alone, what might cause him to change his mind and allow someone into his life?
It depends on what you mean by important. In general, Tel has a tendency to to collect people, like some giant demented undead mother hen, and those people have a distinct leaning toward being Anchorite's of some sort. This kind of thing is almost always one sided, and generally consists of Tel deciding for whatever reason that "this one needs protecting" and then just *does* it, with or without their permission.
As far as letting someone in, Tel's a private person, he doesn't let a lot of people get close. He's particular about who gets to help him and who he relies on, and anyone wanting to really get to know him should be prepared to tolerate his gruff and spikey exterior ((which is pretty thick, to protect his marshmallow center)) Basically, if Telurin seeks you out, lets you call him nicknames without grimacing, and makes sarcastic comments that could be jokes if you squint, that's his way of saying you're important to him. People who get to casually break his giant “don’t touch me” personal space bubble are very rare and *very* important as Tel has never been one for casual touch, especially now that he’s dead.
