Day 216 : Meter Bridge - Kite
Marvellous Kraftwerk-influenced electro-pop from Canada. The track ‘Filter’ from their EP available at Bandcamp is equally good: https://meterbridgeweatnurecords.bandcamp.com/
‘Filter’ by Meter Bridge. Featuring a brand new Mind Veneration Remix of ‘Kite’.

Album Review
Meter Bridge - Slow Motion
After last year’s self-titled debut EP (that somehow slipped my attention *shakes head*), the Canadian synthpop duo have now released their first full length, Slow Motion.
As you may already have noticed, I am someone who attaches the highest importance to the vocal and lyric parts of a song. Listening to Meter Bridge’s debut album however, I couldn’t help but notice (and be impressed by) the dedication and skill applied to the synthesizer-led melodies. Who knows, it might have been sufficient to finally overcome my shameful aversion to instrumental music, but some equally amazing vocals (especially in the duets) kept me from finding that out ;) As elaborate as the tunes may be, Jill and Richard always make sure to keep them catchy and danceable.
