"Look like your father but have your mother's eyes"

Could Harry having Lily's eyes but look like James have something to do with how other people see him and how he sees the world. Like, he sees the world more like Lily than James, but what most people see first is the ways he is like James, breaking rules, good at quidditch and such. Facts that are easily observed. But Harry is loyal and big-hearted like Lily. Loving. But that isn't the first you get to know about him. Only if you look a little closer you see the remarkable resemblance to Lily.
