Mailed to Ruth Miller, of Union City, Penn, from Jean B. in Spartansburg, 1906. Postcard, United States of America. “Am visiting in Sparta. Well, I can tell you about ghosts on the Canadian prairies. They are bored out of their minds because there is nothing there. even live farmers have to take up raising ostriches, buffalo, elk, and wild boar just to keep from going out of their minds with the boredom of the landscape. what is a poor ghost going to do? I assume they would hope and try to catch a lift on a passing artefact and presumably spend 100 years waiting for one.
oh, man… i don’t have the focus to respond properly, but i wanted to a) thank you for sharing the image of these forlorn artefact-seeking ghosts and b) share yer fine thought via posting. i will need to think on this.
maybe the ghosts could snag onto a particular ostrich or elk friend? in hopes that the friend might tell them of living and that maybe someday that friend too will be a ghost and they can travel space-wise as long as they please.

I'm a fan of helvetica. I know it is not cool and unusual. I just like it. when I was a kid I liked Pump and based my handwriting on it to some degree. I also liked Tintoretto, Davida and Sinaloa.
hey, man, ya gotta go with the font you feel. :D long as it gets you to the words, it is an a+ a-okay font.

Too late. Now I am AFRAID of the Spilt Clothing Org. but I think I could make a fort. I’s deliberate enough to fool ‘em, right? right?
i think yes, absolutely that would work. if need be, you can tell them you’re creating a work of art: installation piece, performance piece, whatever you’re feeling in the moment. if they pry into your meaning, tell them intention is a trap and the meaning is open for interpretation, but you’re certainly saying SOMETHING about disorganized (organized disorganized? depending on how fortly you should go) clothing.
there are always, always ways around the Spilt Clothing Org. just gotta rustle around for ‘em.

aw, but you are a brilliant writer and do great things with words no one else can do! I think it is great!
man, we’ll see and we’ll see, and anyway i thank you for this. :) and for always being a groovy sort and a let’s say a positive supporting scotch-sharing sort. seriously. seriously. :D

I know. I’m just angry this week, generally.
there seems reason to be. and in such cases? speech and voicing can become a must. can become something that does land in one drop or another, that at least keeps a scene a shift a state of events from calcifying. situation requires observations, reactions, even if only to ask without answer. often if only to ask without answer.
i’m not being exceptionally coherent, but i suspect that won’t be too much a letdown. in any case, let the words out where they want to run. and shout at the world if you feel like it, because man, sometimes shit requires shouting.
