methodoflogicalmadness said: It’s kind of similar to The X-Files, albeit with more science and parallel universe related plot points. Also, Leonard Nimoy is an extremely important character and appears in roughly 10% of the episodes. Wellllllllll I haven’t seen the X-Files (it’s on my to watch list) but this sounds like something I will put on my to-watch list in the event it ever gets on a streaming service that I subscribe to.
methodoflogicalmadness answered: Have you already watched Fringe? Sell me on it and I might give it a shot. ;D

I’ve only built a 60 card spider tribal, but I’m guessing you’ll basically just need to run every decent spider, Arachnogenesis, and probably a few cards like overrun as a back up kill plan. My 60 card uses Arachnus Spinner/Web a lot, but that will be more difficult in EDH. It might be wise to wait a little while until Ishkanah drops in price, as she is currently around $9 due to being in some top standard Bant decks.
My plan was similar to that actually so I’m glad to know someone else thinks it’ll work! Just one of those weird anxiety days getting in the way. Darned mental illness.
I was wondering why she was up so much, but luckily I packed both a normal and foil Ishkanah in the prerelease so I’m all set on that front with one to spare. : D
Another pencil slain
hot new ask meme: guess what my boyfriend thinks my kinks are and i’ll write you a 2-3k fic
edit: no asking my boyfriend! that’s cheating and disqualifies you from the prize
try your best
Seeing the new Star Wars with @methodoflogicalmadness and @fullmoon500!
What are your opinion of the commons in OGW? The only standouts I see are Corpse Churn, Natural State, and Slip Through Space.
Corpse Churn will be tested and possibly find a home in UB Delver for sure. Natural state might see fringe play, it hits most of the relevant enchantments, but green is more likely to board better hate for bogles like Serene Heart or gleeful sabotage for the affinity match up, I’m not convinced it’s the best option available. Slip through Space will go into Delverfiend for sure, it dodges pyroblast, and plenty of lists were cutting down on distortion strike as a win con, where this is a bit harder to deal with for non-blue decks.
I actually have my eye on lands for the most part. Crumbling Vestige and holdout settlement enable multicolor aggro pretty well. The other stand out from the set is Witness the End. It hits combo decks really hard, discard is one thing, but any good combo deck can get its pieces back from the bin. This is a potential card for MBC as it just shuts stuff out entirely. All in all, it’s pretty unexciting in comparison to the banning of Cloud of Faeries, which leaves the meta in freefall for a few weeks.
