Thanks, I'm hoping that I do. Since, I woke up slightly worse, I'm guessing it will be a few days yet... I'm just hoping for a freak snow day so me and my sore eyes and throat can stay home. I don't feel bad enough to call in sick; plus it's more trouble than it's worth since I'd still have to prep lessons, etc. 

My sister-housemate is also sick with this thing (she also has a lovely cough with hers), so we have been sitting around groaning and feeling fuzzy-headed together.

I usually make a ppt presentation with bullet points so I can keep myself on track, and make sure I know the material before going in … but then I pretty much wing it. I can’t go in with notes because then I just get super nervous and mess up.

Yep... That's pretty much what happens to me a lot of the time this year. The problem is that prioritising seminar work really isn't a good idea...

Something I plan on learning- Am currently doing French through doulingo, but I also have a Koine Greek textbook waiting for my (renewed) attention. Also I just got a book in the mail today on applying Myers-Briggs in the classroom. Basically "ALL the things!"

Piece of advice for my followers- Feed your brain as well as your body. Do things, but don't stress about doing things (don't overload yourself).

That last paragraph reminded me of how my first kiss happened…I didn’t realize there was anything like a schedule in relationships for things to happen until it was brought up. I caved; it didn’t mean much to me, but my SO thought it was important.

Yeah, my first kiss situation was weird too; like an awkward misunderstanding of a system that's supposed to come naturally. I completely misread the situation, so I was the one who did it just because I thought that was what was supposed to happen next. Or something. I didn't have a clue what I was doing. I had no intuitive guide for how things were supposed to work. I didn't do it because I wanted to. I did it because I was following a blueprint.

Luckily nothing followed from that. But I did do other things that seemed like they were supposed to be part of a relationship just because he wanted to; like dinners and dances and wearing dresses or pretty things. I wasn't comfortable with it, but it seemed to be what was expected.

You know, I asked ESTJ if this all came naturally to him, expecting that to be a societal myth, and he said it did. I wasn't really sure what to do with that information.

You've also reminded me of the only dreams I've had along these sorts of lines (no more than five or six total, at a guess). Apart from a couple of mostly platonic ones involving women, they were really mechanical and, again, mostly platonic. It seemed like my brain was doing what it usually does with dreams - putting together things to see what happens. I think with these dreams, it took the societal blueprints and made dreams out of them, but the only real feeling in experiencing those dreams is '.......... wtf am I doing here? This is kind of absurd.'

Have you ever tried dry shampoo..? If not, I’d recommend it for these situations… I used to be suspicious of the stuff, but it actually involves very little hassle (it’s basically just a fine spray that you quickly brush through afterwards).

I second that idea about the dry shampoo. Suspicious showers are best avoided, if possible.

I haven't tried it before, because I was suspicious of it and didn't need it, but I just went to Boots and got a small amount of it to test out. Thanks for the suggestion =)

I think the shower's been mostly fixed up now, which is good. The front's still damaged, but the rest of it is much improved. The maintenance people must have come.

I'll definitely use this in the future, though.

Also, yes, suspicious showers are best avoided. That's why I always use the same shower here.
