My preliminary experiments with fingerweaving!

My mom's been requesting a metis sash for a while now when I ask her if she's like anything, and while I could approximate something, I want to be good, so . . . new weaving technique!

Funnily enough I'd worked out the simplest version years ago when I was trying to figure out how to do a four strand braid, though I hadn't gotten a good technique to do it.

I've been having a little trouble finding free tutorials for how to do anything beyond just the most basic technique. I haven't tried to search too deeply yet, but even the arrow I did on the right was just me approximating something I think might work. So, for anyone reading this with recommendations (no classes, just tutorials), let me know!
