And that is Death Trick: Double Blind in the books!
The game itself is a little messy, I had to stop taking pictures of every grammatical error and sending them to @vaptainhammer because they persisted to the point where I would have spoiled things, and ultimately there was no failure to communicate, I still understood everything, and in the end, I’m just being a perfectionist and projecting.
It’s more in the vein of Ace Attorney than Professor Layton (and you don’t have to take my word for it!
Take theirs! Also Shu being first is Deserved)
In the sense that there aren’t, like, random puzzles, every puzzle instead serves the plot, and it was surprisingly emotional at the end. It makes sense that Ace Attorney affected it so much, in the end it is about relationships and bonding and found family, and was not a terrible way to spend more than nine hours. The ladies who made this game definitley have a bright future ahead of them in game development. They should just hire me to proofread. Hell, I’d do it for a Subway gift card and some paperclips.
But as for me, what’s next? That is the question, is it not? If anyone wants to read through my list of backlogged games in my pinned post and send me an ask telling me what you’d most like to see on this blog, absolutely go ahead!
