Following from this, bravery and the care for others is also mainly what Roxanne talks about when it comes to Metro Man. Sure, his powers are amazing, but for her the truly impressive thing about him is how he always steps in when someone is in danger and always helps the people of the city when they need it. That's what Megamind took over at the end of the movie and why Roxanne appreciates him as "her" hero by the end.
With that in mind, I wonder what Roxanne thinks of Metro Man going forward. She was very angry with him for his betrayal of the city's trust which is more than fair. I wonder if she comes to forgive him after some time or if she permanently lost some respect for him due to him taking "the coward's way" out. He never stepped in to help no matter how bad things got with Titan. A certain selfishness is undoubtedly fine and necessary but does it go that far? And why did he need to fake his death in the first place? He could've just refused to play the hero anymore but that would've cost him his reputation which he apparently didn't want to lose. I can honestly see Roxanne being frustrated with Metro Man for a long time and not forgiving him so easily. That kind of betrayal runs deep as it fundamentally goes against him being the kind of person Roxanne thought he was and everything she used to admire about him.
