Metroid 30th anniversary (2016)
Metroid came out 30 years ago. This is one of my favorite gaming franchise ever so I felt like doing a little homage. It’s the first time I ever drew a Samus fanart. Hope you enjoy!

About Metroid Prime Federation Force, I think it's a victim of bad timing with the Metroid 2 remake takedown, the 30th Anniversary, being a spinoff, and being the first game since Other M. If it was announced at any other time (or at least have a main game released along side it), it would be more welcomed/less hated (IMO)
Are you the same Anon that’s been sending these messages to other people disliking Federation Force? I’ve seen this exact message pop up in the tags I follow multiple times. (It’s okay - just curious)Consider the facts: it’s been almost 6 years since Other M, 10 years since Prime 3: Corruption, and 12 years since Zero Mission. The last thing this franchise needed was just a spin-off (especially since it runs in the canon of Prime 3).
That’d be like Nintendo releasing another F-Zero game after all this time, but deciding it’ll be a spin-off Mario Kart clone without Captain Falcon as a playable character.
I want to say you’re right. It did come out at a very bad time. I’ll even admit that it looks quite fun. But holy shit is this a terrible business decision.
