Public Access T.V. - Metrotech
Metrotech is taken from, Street Safari the new album from Public Access T.V., coming February 2018. The video was directed by Morian Thomas.
Public Access T.V. are an American indie rock band formed in New York City in 2014. The band is John Eatherly (lead vocals, guitar), Xan Aird (lead guitar, vocals), Max Peebles (bass, vocals) and Pete Star (drums, vocals).
I had the chance to see Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles for the first time at the BAM R&B Festival in early August. They were funkin’, for sure; especially so on this cover of The Pointer Sisters’ classic “You Gotta Believe.”

The living work of art is on view at MetroTech Commons through March of 2018.
The purple connections kept coming this summer as some of the singers who worked with Prince in his later days performed in Brooklyn at the BAM R&B Festival. Liv Warfield, Shelby J., and Judith Hill all did sets of their own, then came together at the end of the show.
