During her speech in Munich, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen @mette stated that Denmark is ready to transfer all its artillery to Ukraine, Ukrinform reports. Frederiksen also urged other European countries to provide Ukraine’s armed forces with ammunition and air defense systems.
“Ukraine is asking us for ammunition and artillery now. We, Denmark, have decided to give Ukraine all our artillery. So, sorry, friends, Europe has military equipment, it’s not just a matter of production. We have weapons, ammunition, air defense systems that we are not using yet, and we need to give them to Ukraine,” she said.
Frederiksen also stressed that the discussions at the Munich Security Conference do not sufficiently emphasize the urgency of transferring the weapons Ukraine needs now. Frederiksen added that regardless of what is happening in the United States, Europe must take responsibility for itself and its security.
