Not totally familiar with the difference in US trans care and Denmark's, why's it take 100 days to get in at the clinic?
Thanks for asking!
Unfortunately, it takes a lot longer than 100 days. By the time I get in for my first appointment, I will have waited close to a year and a half!
That's partly because there are only three clinics in Denmark, partly because it's become more accepted and safer to transition (of course, we have influences from across the Pond now, but it's still fairly safe here).
Coupled with the fact that there are no private clinics (it's sadly not legal for private healthy to offer gender affirming care), it means wait lists are super long and my local one in particular because they're more open to non-binary people.
So while Denmark is still a relatively safe country to be safe in, we still lag far behind when it comes to actual gender affirming care.
