Pacific Ocean 2012 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit One of the more interesting “ranges” I’ve been on was where the air wingers would take up helicopters over the ocean, toss in a large cardboard box, then see if they could hit it with the bird’s guns. I had never even thought of that before going out with them, but it was a fun time to say the least.
